It’s Sunday night.How you feeling about the week ahead?Feeling stuck in a hard situation with no way out?The Israelites felt that way long ago as they fled Egypt, trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army charging straight for them.They were upset and afraid, so they needed this word from Moses:“Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today ... the LORD will fight for you.” (Exodus 14:13-14)The Lord did indeed fight for them, splitting the Red Sea open to give them a path of escape and then drowning the army that pursued them.3,500 years later, you too can see the salvation of the Lord.Whatever you’re facing this week, fear not, stand firm and trust the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, seas and dry ground, armies and nations.He is on your side, and he will fight for you.Grace and peace to you in the week ahead.
